"RL" stands for Round Liner, while "RLT" stands for Round Liner Tapered (long taper).
The primary difference between 1001RL, 1401RL, and 0401RL lies in the needle gauge (diameter):
04RL = 0.18mm (finer)
10RL = 0.30mm (medium)
14RL = 0.40mm (thicker)
The smaller the number, the finer the needle—ideal for delicate, precise lines. The larger the number, the thicker the needle, which delivers more ink flow and produces bolder lines.
